In 2016 Collin Troy de Larrew found himself a threadbare soul languishing among the spectacular landscapes of the New Mexico high desert. His music career was disintegrating and his personal life was in disarray.  It was symbolized by the barren walls of an empty home and the ramshackle remains of a hodgepodge home recording studio.  Abandoned, betrayed, and lost, De Larrew’s life had been overturned in a matter of months.  Although battered and frayed, his world was held together by two unbreakable strings: the art he had dedicated his life to creating, and the two children he refused to fail.  With the wisdom to see that in life’s darkest moments the lights that matter most shine brightest, De Larrew discovered a new dimension to his creative vision.  The result, a life restored and a transformative new music project, Fugitive Moods.

Fugitive Moods genre-bending sound favors layers of loops and organic instrumentation with heavy low-ends to accent and balance his dramatic flourish and smoky, soulful vocals.  Emotive and deeply personal, Fugitive Moods is cathartic and limitless.  De Larrew’s mature songwriting is mesmerizing and sincere.
